Our Veterinary Technicians (Credentialed/Registered/Provisional) provide clinical and administrative support for the Veterinary Services Department.
Schedule include a weekend shift.
Essential Duties include:
Assist with the surgical program including induction and intubation of surgery patients; Surgery prep and patient monitoring; Perform dental prophy and radiographs; Prepare and interpret basic diagnostic tests; Performing euthanasia as assigned; Assist with basic training of veterinary medicine and technician students, volunteers and more.
Requirements include:
Solid technician skills and direct animal handling/care experience; Proficiency with intubation, IV catheter placement and IV injection techniques; Strong communications and emotional intelligence, integrity and work ethic skills.
